Our risk policies are integral to our growth strategy; they help us to develop our business while providing our clients, partners and shareholders with strong risk related safeguards. Newedge is regulated by the ACP (Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel); we operate within a strong regulatory framework in which risk management is a key component.
Risk management is an independent function within Newedge. This helps to ensure the measure, control and reporting of market and counterparty risks. Our procedures require that significant developments of activities be approved, controlled and reported. In addition, operational risks inherent to our daily activities are monitored by a dedicated team.
Our in-house risk systems are continuously updated and improved. Our ongoing investments help develop and enhance functionalities that help to ensure a match with the assortment of risks faced.
Represented at the Group Executive Committee and benefiting from its own Board Risk Committee, the risk management team includes over 120 professionals across all regions. Members are committed to creating a well-monitored and safe business environment for Newedge, its clients and the industry.
