NOTE: This skin is for CE Version 1... it will not work with version 2

I skinned CE for my site, and figured some other people might be able to benefit from it as well... it's kind of an earth tone theme. Here are some screenshots:

Oh yeah, don't forget to change out logo.gif in the images folder with your logo :)

Just a quick question. Where do you upload the files to? I try to upload to CE/templates/ directory, but it does not allow me to upload any files.

I try uploading logo.gif to the Raleigh template but denied as well.

Any idea?

the CE/templates directory is correct... sounds like the permissions on the files/directories need to be set up though. Make sure the user you're trying to FTP in as has permissions to write in there. If you're on a Linux server, it's likely that the person who set up the CE site forgot to chown them to your user.

Uploaded. I have error on my setting and can't change back to Raleigh template or any template.
"The encoded file /templates/Triinfinite/functions.php has expired or is corrupt."

Any suggestion?

Oops... I was watching the firewall logs yesterday and noticed that it was misconfigured (rules were too strict) so that anyone who tried to download the skin would have their IP banned from my server for one day. The problem's probably been there for a few weeks. My bad. :eek:

It's all better now. :D

ERROR: FindTemplate: file include/menus/home.tpl does not exist anywhere in templates/Triinfinite/

Any ideas?

ya, i got that too. so i just added all the files that are in teh original and the templates work but the menus at the top dont drop down and are not clickable cept for logout. so i dont think this works with the updated version or something like that

That's correct. It was built for CE before version 2... I haven't even tested it in version 2. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to update it.

Yeah I like the skin too - header would look better if it was more graphically exciting but the colours work really well with each other as it stands.

I have a problem. I did not realize this was not for the updated version so i put the template in the template folder and replaced the old template and now i get that

What do I do to correct this?

You'll need to go into the 'setting' table in the db and change the template back to Raleigh.

You need to go into PHPMYADMIN and manually edit the database field which holds the template information :)

I missed that it was old and rushed to install it - had the same problem, but easily fixed. They should really close/delete or edit the thread to make it more obvious ;)
