New Theme for Clientexec v1.1.1 OUT !!

Dear Friends,

After long time of inacitivity in theme area we are now back again in this theme world to make a jungle of themes for hosting related environment.

$30 is a bit steep for a product that only costs $99.

You could get much more complex themes for vB for $30.

I dunno... I think $30 is a very reasonable price. $30 is nothing. Especially if you think how much you spend on other things... I pay $40+/month for gas in my car that will be used up rather quickly. If I'm not mistaken, this is a one time $30 payment that will benefit your customers for as long as you want.

Anyway, I'm not at all affiliated with Vox Themes, but I am actually in the process of skinning my copy of CE myself, and I can appreciate the want to charge even more than $30 :)... it can be pretty time consuming.

Right on. $99.00 is pretty CHEAP for a product like CE, likewise for the theme. I'd look at it is if you're paying him for a portion of the time to skin it, which makes $30 look like change.

Don't forget also that the market for a skin of any application is much smaller than the market for the application itself, hence the $30.00 charge is very reasonable.

it_ideas: I'd like to know if you could make a fixed width, 775 pixel wide template for CE? I've tried removing everything on the right hand side of the interface, but haven't had much luck.

I would personally pay $30 without any problem whatsoever for this skin, I just don't want to buy any skins until development is much farther along. $30 is dead cheap for the amount of work that goes into it, not to mention the customer base for CE is still very small compared to others. Gotta make a profit somehow or it isn't worth it.

Not now. we had done some cpanel skins where ther was version 6x but as it goes now we dont have much time to explore it again as we were busy with ensim squirrelmail cilentexec lithiumsp with general and more on custom theme designs.

But we are sure that we will produce cpanel english version skin soon.

Well I just ordered the client exec skin from this guy. Sunday Jan. 18, 2004. After completing the order it told me it was going to send the skin to my shipping address. My question is why not email it? I'd be able to install it and have it in use a lot faster that way.

Are you perhaps paying by paypal? If so, in order for paypal's seller protection stuff to work you must ship an actual product (in rare cases this is different). By shipping it to you (with a shipping # of some sort) he is protecting himself.

Shell hosting providers and webhosting providers and any other services provider "coding, webdesign services etc.." are not covered by paypals seller protection policy. If you were selling refrigerators and microwave ovens on the other hand you would be covered. They seem to want physical items that can be touched and purchased at a retail "physical" store in order to be covered by the seller protection policy.

I am getting the following error message after I put the new template in

The encoded file /home/upstate/public_html/clients/templates/vox-ce/functions.php has expired or is corrupt.

I have copied the functions.php from Raleigh and put it in the vox-ce theme. Deleted and tried again. I have done this about 4 or 5 times but it is still there. I get it in the Admin - Settings section of CE. I am running CE 1.1.1 and have chatted with Vox about this.

Alberto...do you have any idea as to what is causing this?
