I'm new to CE and just setting my site up - so help me if I'm missing something...

I've edited the signup_header.tpl and signup_footer.tpl to look like my site - I just split my html in 2 pieces (as suggested in these forums) and put it in the respective .tpl files.

Long story short, it looks like my site, but the alignment is all jacked up on the signup.php page!! Everything is moved WAY over to the right.

My site as it should look: Here (https://www.floatingpointmedia.com)

All jacked up with signup.php: Here (https://www.floatingpointmedia.com/members/signup.php)

I've scoured the code and can't find the culprit. Even un-linked the stylesheet just for kicks, and still no dice. Anyone else have this issue, or can enlighten me?

Nevermind - I found it

Already in the signup_header.tpl there was this:

<table width=100% align=center>
<tr><td>&nbsp;</td><td width=400>

Right above <!-- End Header information -->

Took it out and BAM! It works great!

I ran into the needing to have a colspan of 3 or 4 a few days ago.

Hi we are experiencing the same problem. We tried removing the table information as stated above, however, this has not resolved our problem.

Before we added our header image and table the signup form was centered now its aligned right even though our header remains centered:

Please view here - http://www.secureorderpage.co.uk/clientexec/signup.php

Any advise would be much appreciated.

Regards

Chris

That is what happened to me. Look at the colspan needed, I think it is like 5 or 6.

I cannot see any colspan. Will it say colspan or something else?

Thank you

When you add your tr your td must have the colspan set correctly. Count the number of columns in the default singup script and then set your colspan to match.
