HI,

I have such a problem intergrating the signup form using the header and footer files. Does anyone have a sample of these files that I can have a look at. :D

I got it to work without a hint of trouble (aside from the php includes not working but I didn't quite expect them to).
http://billing.adrianethosting.com/signup.php

What is important is to put your header before the // end header (or whatever was written there) and to put the footer AFTER the // footer part. This is how I did it and it worked fine as you can see.

I always had problems with html tables when it comes to footer and header files.

The problem I have is to get the signup form to appear inside the table in

http://imm.com.au/products/hosting/signup.php

I would like it to look like http://www.imm.com.au/web-hosting/order/index.php

I am not sure what I have done wrong but I would appreciate all and any help :rolleyes:

Here is the right thing, to also have the price list included on the left and all that jazz.

**edited out because it really screwed up the tables of the forums so hopefully this will bring them back.**

I had tried some tweaking with the headers/footer.

I notice if I clicked the 'submit' button, I will get some error... but I am still able to log in.

As for the sign up page, I think I will get the similar error too...

What error are you getting? if this still logs you in, this means most probably that one of the java script present on the page is either missing or something.

My pleasure. Working with headers and footers are most often a problem when you are dealing with nested tables. Since a lot of tables stay open in the header and close in the footer, this often creates trouble when editing the files (like they'll add the close table tags to the header file and will delete the unecessary end tables in the footer file).

I do a whole lot of grumbling when I have to edit those files.

Alberto, it seems to me that a lot of people have problems with the footer and header files. Why not include an example of footer and header files so that we can use it as a working sample.

I wouldn't have been able to sort this one our without the help of Jacynthe.

What error are you getting? if this still logs you in, this means most probably that one of the java script present on the page is either missing or something.

Nice looking order form Jacynthe! I'm going to start on my clientexec customizations next week after I get Ensim Pro upgraded on my server. I see you do web design also. I may be contacting you for pricing on a few templates. Also, thanks to Alberto for adding this section in the forums. I'm sure everyone will find it handy when people start posting info, like in this thread!

The thing is that you probably put in your header file what should be in the footer.. meaning the 3rd column (the one on the right). What needs to happen is this

in header file, put:

top of page (logo, slogan)
left column (menu)
open tag of the second column (<td> and whatever else)

in the footer file, put:

end tag of the second column (</td> and whatever else)
the right column (testimonials)
any footer you might have.

I got a javascript error also. Make sure this code is present at the beginning of login_header.tpl:

I somehow deleted that, and replaced it and it now works again. I could also log in, but it did give some popup errors until I replaced the code.
